Nuna IVVI Pushchair
Nuna IVVI Pushchair
A complete solution from birth til they’re finished strolling…
Here at Project Baby HQ we see a lot of prams and a new press release lands on my desk weekly with a new pushchair hitting the shelves, but it has to be said the Nuna IVVI is one of my favourite single pushchairs its very eye catching and has hidden features that iv not seen on other pushchairs.
The designers of the Nuna Ivvi have not just considered baby’s comfort needs but mums and dads alike.
It’s available in two neutral colours (black and safari), both of which look stylish alongside the chunky Chrome frame. It’s suitable from birth, with a carrycot option for the first six months which is then replaced with the parent or world facing, multi-position seat unit which should carry little ones throughout their pushchair years. The worth a mention that the seat is suitable from birth with a total lay flat position however I love the carry cot so the carry cot was a must, even the carry cot had some beautiful features that most carry cots do not.
Lets take a look at a few main features
The carrycot is reasonably spacious and extremely comfortable and well padded the mattress is lovely and thick you can remove the cover and wash it with ease and it really is easy to put back on. There were two key features to the carry cot that I loved- Integrated storage area at the bottom of the carry cot to store your keys, phone, wallet. I am guilty of putting my purse down the side of the baby in the carry cot, you can remove this purse easily too but its lovely to have somewhere safe to put your keys and purse that’s totally hidden and secret making popping to the shops and school run a little quicker and easier.
The second feature I loved is the hidden sunshade I love in the hood it just pulls out and pulls right over the carry cot and fixes with magnets either side giving baby a lovely protection from the sun.
The Chassis is designed for all-terrain adventures and is made from Aluminium frame with an adjustable handle, to extend the handle you need to use both hands and pull up the clips either side and the same to shorten the handle bars.
It’s also not the most compact of pushchairs when it’s folded (which can be done with or without the seat attached) – although this is something that can be addressed by removing the quick release wheels, if you happen to have a boot of the smaller variety for example. We have an Audi A3 and it fits with ease.
The chassis is free standing when folded, as well as having a handle so you can pull it along easily a bit like a trolley case, which makes life easier.
The basket is HUGE and lovely and deep this was a massive selling point, I use public transport a lot so if im out and about I need to get my shopping bits home with ease without having it banging on my knees as I try to walk. There is a divider in the basket this can be quiet handy too.
These can be removed very quickly and easily to help stow away in small places
I love this seat the back rest is abit taller than most, the lining is very soft and comfortable with a 5 point harness. The Hood has a zip that will extend the hood making it even bigger and more coverage with a pocket air vent. The foot rest is adjustable and has different settings, all you have to do is push the two silver buttons either side to adjust. The back rest has 5 different recline settings and these can easily be done with one hand.
This pram comes complete with rain cover and adapters for Carseat. We did not test the Chassis with Carseat on this occasion.
